About Me

I'm Austin MacDonald, a tattoo artist and illustrator based in Ridgewood, NY. I make illustrative dotwork tattoos inspired by pixel art, video games, fantasy, science fiction and anime. I work in a private studio that I share with other tattooers off the Jefferson L in Ridgewood.

Tattoo Booking Info

Send me a message on instagram or an email and include your:

  • Name

  • Pronouns

  • Desired flash or custom with reference images

  • Dates/times available

  • Approximate budget

Pricing

  • I require a $50 deposit (refundable up to 1 week before the appointment) through Venmo, Zelle or Paypal, which comes off the final price of your tattoo

  • I charge $150 an hour for flash and $200 an hour for customs

  • My tattoos typically take 2-3 hours

  • When traveling, my rates are a bit higher due to the additional travel expenses, food/lodging etc.

  • I’m also willing to work with your budget

  • At the appointment, I accept cash or Zelle

Flash

  • All of the designs in my Flash story highlight on Instagram are available - you can reserve a desired design once I receive your deposit

  • I typically do each design a few times with different color variations, so don’t hesitate to ask about an older flash

Customs

  • I love doing customs, especially anything anime, video game, fantasy, or sci-fi related

  • I’ll show you a sketch of your design at the appointment where you can have me change/redraw until you’re satisfied

Reschedules/Cancelations

  • I will refund your deposit up to 1 week before the day of your appointment

  • If you would like to reschedule, your same deposit can be used if you give me at least 48 hours notice
